Across the world, Hindu community celebrate the festival of Navratri (Nine nights) by worshipping goddess Durga. It is celebrated in post monsoon period in the months of September and October. A lot of people do fasting and put pandals, decorate them, offer puja. They also organise events in which garba and dandiya are played during Navratri. It is celebrated to commemorate the victory of goddess Durga to restore Dharma i.e victory of  good over evils. Navratri's nine nights have a different story for its celebration. 

But the worship of Durga is different from what we are practicing since long back and now we have to find the true way of worship instead of wasting our time in such things.

His body is composed of a "single element of divine light", which is indestructible, which is the reason why, Kabir Prakat Diwas is celebrated for lord Kabir and not Jayanti. The day when Lord Kabir appeared on earth, is called the Prakat Diwas of Lord Kabir, not a birth anniversary (jayanti)! Gautama Buddha was a virtuous soul who came from Vishnu Loka. Once for his salvation he started doing self-will-meditation (hatha yoga) under a banyan tree in Bihar. He also stopped eating. After some days when his body became weaker & was about to die, an old woman came and fed him some kheer. On the first day he ate something and the next day some more.  In this way he started eating and declared that "Starvation cannot lead to Salvation". When he didn't get the way of salvation, he became a preacher & gained many followers as well.  But due to absence of true devotional path and lack of right guru, his method of worship went wrong.
