Who is Saint Rampal Ji Maharaj - A brief introduction


As we all are familiar to the name of Saint Rampal Ji Maharaj but we are not aware of about his complete biography and why he is in controversy since 2007 so let's know about him without wasting any time. Actually Saint Rampal Ji Maharaj was born on 8 September 1951 in Village Dhanana, Tehsil Gohana, District Sonipat , Haryana in a family of farmers. His parents were Bhakt Nandram and Bhaktmati Indradevi. After obtaining a diploma in Engineering he appointed as a J.E. in the irrigation department of Haryana Government. Due to religious nature from his childhood he continuously worshipped Hanuman Ji for 25 years and recited Hanuman Chalisa seven times daily, and for eighteen years consecutively went to a famous temple of Hanuman Ji in a village Salahsar in district Churu ,Rajasthan to do worship. Along with this, he also used to consider Shri Krishna Ji as his deity. Before elightment he did not consider any other god greater than him, and also used to domestically worship Khatu Shyam Ji. He used to meditate for hours. Even after doing all these religious practices, neither did he see and meet God nor attained physical well being and mental peace. He were always meeting sadhus and mahatmas with the burning desire of attaining God.



One day, he met 107 years old Kabir Panthi Saint Swami Ramdevanand Ji Maharaj. He asked Swami ji that how can one achieve God and acquire mental peace? Swami Ji asked, "What religious practices do you follow?" He said, "I keep fast, go to temples and worship Hanuman Ji, Shri Krishna Ji and Shyam Ji. I celebrate all the festivals and also perform shraadhs etc." Then, Swami Ji told him that the religious practices you follow are neither for attaining God, nor can give you mental peace. Kabir Sahib Ji has said in His sacred speech that: -


Kabir, mai masaani sed sheetla, bhairo bhoot hanumant
Sahib se nyaara rahe, jo inko poojant
Kabir, patthar pooje Hari miley, to main poojun pahaar
Taatein chakki bhali, pees khaaye sansaar


After getting hidden knowledge of our holy scriptures Saint Rampal Ji Maharaj started worship accordingly and In 1994 Swami Ramdevanand Ji Maharaj ordered him to give Naam-Daan (initiation). Considering the responsibility of Naam-Daan as his foremost duty and to fulfill it, he started explaining to people by going to their houses in various villages and cities. He became so busy that he had to leave his job after having worked for 18 years, so that the people could be shown the true path. After taking Naam-Daan from him, the devotees (Bhakt) started getting worldly happiness and spiritual experiences.

How Kabir Saheb Came On Earth?

Lord Kabir doesn't take birth from a mother's womb. Lord Kabir's body is not made up of five elements and does not have any bones or flesh. His body is composed of a "single element of divine light", which is indestructible, which is the reason why, Kabir Prakat Diwas is celebrated for lord Kabir and not Jayanti. The day when Lord Kabir appeared on earth, is called the Prakat Diwas of Lord Kabir, not a birth anniversary (jayanti)! Lord Kabir descended from Satlok along with his body, in the year 1398 (Vikrami era 1455), in the month of Jyeshtha, on a full moon day, at the time of wee house i.e. dawn (, Brahm muhrat); appeared in the form of an infant on a lotus flower in s pond named Lahartara pond. Gautama Buddha was a virtuous soul who came from Vishnu Loka. Once for his salvation he started doing self-will-meditation (hatha yoga) under a banyan tree in Bihar. He also stopped eating. After some days when his body became weaker & was about to die, an old woman came and fed him some kheer.
